    Conclusions of the debate.
    Topic: Globalization.

    1) Firstly, local business cannot compete with big Multinationals companies. As we mentioned in the debate it is really difficult for local business to compete with Multinational companies due to they have so much power, the amount of money they manage, the quality of the products are better and the most important reason is that they can sell many goods cheaper than local business. For those reasons, local business will be affected seriously and in the worst case they will be disappeared in few years. However, one point to consider would be that local business could improve the quality of the products in order to compete with them.

    2) Secondly, positives and negatives aspects about internet and communication. Internet and communication networks are increasing among the countries. We know that they are useful tools in different ways and the most important advantage is that they are cheaper and faster. On the other hand, those kind of tools are being affected human’s health because of the radiations of the cellphones, TVs, computers and among other things. Another problem is that people are losing their social interaction because the main way of communication is the internet and everybody uses it in the companies, school and at home.

    3) Another point to consider is the identity, many people agreed that globalization is the caused that people are change their manners, customs, habits, likes, traditions and their culture. But we have to take into account that the world change day after day and globalization is the integration of ideas, culture and values; what we have to do is try to preserve the most important traditions and the government has to take care native people or ethnic groups who are living in different parts of our country like Amazons, Chocó, Guajira among others.

    4) Another conclusion would be that globalization is the exchange of goods and knowledge and it has positive and negative aspects. These aspects can be managed in a better way to be improved and useful for everybody in the world. On the other hand, it can destroy the environment and increase the economic differences. We know that globalization has also created many negative effects and it´s important to respect the different points of view and opinions of each person, but we believe it’s always better to look to the future with optimism and hope.

    1. Good job! Rather complete. The most important points discussed on the debate were considered in your conclusions, showing the aggrements made. Careful, however, with your grammar. There are many grammatical mistakes.

    CONCLUSIONS
1.To summarize, the positive effects of Globalization are: first aspect is that cities will get more foreign trade and will spread their culture. Societies have become larger as they welcome people of other backgrounds. Cooking styles, languages, music and movies are spread all over the world. Also, the spread of education is important because people could go to another continent for a new experience and spread their latest knowledge back in their home country. Finally, free trade between countries increase which brings new things from other countries.

2.On the other hand globalization also creates some negative effects. One negative effect is fast food, like how McDonalds are spreading all over the world. People are consuming more junk food and it is bad for human's health. Another negative effect is that the benefits of globalization are not fair for everyone. It is said that, the richer are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Finally, people have to deal with the problems and balance that globalization has brought and they are not prepared for that because it is happening faster.
3.In conclusion, it might be said that international and Multinational corporations have so much power for that reasons they just move their factories to underdeveloped countries as they know that people have the necessity of working but the salary that people will be is a small amounts of money. In addition to, it is an advantage to the corporation because they purpose is making much money and getting rich as faster as they could.

4.As a conclusion, the globalization’s process involves a universe of possibilities which could be good or bad depending on the country where globalization takes place. For instance, in our country this practice would be an alternative only for rich people because of the money they have to invest in multinational corporations and so on, and not an option for poor ones who are exploited. Besides, multinational corporations are accused of social injustice, unfair working conditions (including slave labor wages and poor living and working conditions), as well as a lack of concern for the environment, mismanagement of natural resources, and ecological damage.

5.Globalization does hurt some workers in each country. For example, the US used to make most of the TVs sold in our stores. Now, the US buys all of its TVs from abroad. When NAFTA opened trade with Mexico, our TV factories closed their US plants and moved to Mexico, where they could find cheaper labor. On the flip side, Mexican farmers have been hurt by imports of American food. With all of our large farming machinery, local Mexican farmers can't compete with large American farmers, and they are being put out of business.
